The Flagstaff City Council will hold a work session tonight at City Hall. On the agenda is what to do with a housing measure that may appear on the November ballot. If approved by voters, there will be a raise in the property tax that would go toward helping people with rent and first time home buyers programs, along with other housing related programs. Council discussed this measure in April and again last month and was met with resistance from other council members. Other items on tonight’s agenda include an update from ParkFlag, direction on a possible urban farm incubator that would allow vacant city land to be licensed for local food production and they will receive an update on the recent changes to plastics recycling in Flagstaff. The meeting starts at 6 p.m.
