Summit and Flagstaff fire crews had a busy night east of Flagstaff on Interstate-40 Saturday night. Summit Fire and Medical crews first responded to a semi-trailer fire at the Twin Arrows Exit off Interstate-40. The driver was able to disconnect the truck from the trailer, that was carrying meat products. Crews had to use saws to access the trailer. ADOT responded to the scene to help the clean up process. No one was injured. Shortly after that incident, there was an injury accident involving a semi-truck one mile west of Twin Arrows. Summit and Flagstaff fire crews responded to that incident. Two patients were transported to Flagstaff Medical Center after being extracted from the semi. The two are listed in stable condition.
