Coconino County will lift all fire restrictions when the Coconino National Forest does tomorrow morning. The County will lift all fire restrictions below the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Stage Two fire restrictions will still be in effect for county areas above the North Rim of the Canyon. The restrictions will be lifted at 8 a.m. The decision was made to lift restrictions in the county because the region has received significant moisture over the past week and forecast rains in the forecast. Although the fire ban is being lifted, residents and visitors are reminded to use caution when using equipment that can start a fire. Also make sure to put out all campfires and use caution when using barbecue grills.
