Coconino County Moves Into Phase 1B Of The COVID-19 Vaccine
Coconino County is moving to priority populations within Phase 1B of COVID-19 vaccinations next week. Priority populations include education and childcare workers, law enforcement and protective services, as well as people 75 and older. County health officials say vaccine supplies continue to be limited at this time and appointments are available on a first come, first served basis at the Fort Tuthill vaccination site. Appointments are required and there is no cost to receive the vaccine. Individuals without internet access and those age 75 years and older who require assistance with registration can call the COVID-19 Information Line at 928-679-7300. Those seeking vaccination are asked to bring proof of occupation such as a paystub, employment badge, a letter from an employer, or a driver’s license or ID displaying date of birth. For more information and registration links, log onto coconino.az.gov/covid19vaccine.
This is not.working for me. Help!
It is not working for me either. All January and February are Closed. Help me too. Cannot sign up. over 75
All of the available appointments have been booked. The county says to keep trying because some may free up. When the county gets more vaccines, more appointments will open.
When and where can the Happy Jack reassdents and Blue Ridge reassdents get a covid vaccination?
It isn’t about location, it’s about need. Check the county website to see where you fit in. Right now, there is a lack of the vaccine so it’s hard to set up an appointment. Since vaccinations are open, you make want to keep an eye out on Payson to see if they have any sites opening up in the future. Perhaps check the Gila County site for information there. Hope that helps.
Have to say it. The County has done a good job with testing (in my view), but VERY poor job at informing the public about availability of Vaccinations. Like the first poster, I am over 75, and feel somewhat troubled at lack of information. Here is it is Tuesday morning and all of the appointments are taken, when it was not possible to make an appt as of last Friday. What gives? Are there only 5 shots available? (Sorry, a bit worn here). What gives with no information to the public? I know, Dave, that you must have been in the dark as well, otherwise you would have disseminated the information.
The process with the vaccine has been slow because of lack of the vaccine. It’s been a slow roll out. My hope, and the county’s as well, as once more becomes available it will go much smoother. Right now it is what it is I’m afraid.
Should I come back to this site and keep looking to see if appointments open up?
It’s better to keep checking the county site. If that’s what you meant, yes. 🙂
Not easy to register have left ph no with north country will they call? Any way shipment arrive after inaugration ? not a good service to elderly tax payers
It’s all about the amount of vaccine that providers have. This is a governmental thing first and foremost. President-elect Biden says he will open the flood gates for the vaccine, but we will see how much the area gets. Hang tight and stay safe.
Where does Disabled (SSDI) folks fall into the categories. I am 62 and Government approved Disabled and can’t see where I fall. Is it going to be 1C, phase 2 or sooner. I need it to be sooner.
Did they forget about all of us Under 65 with SSDI?
I would call the County hotline and ask them. They should be able to help you.
