The Flagstaff City Council will discuss new actions to be taken by the city as part of the strategic plan for water conservation at their work session Tuesday night at City Hall. These new actions could include raising the bill on outdoor water and improving landscaping standards. Once reviewed, the actions will be considered from a cost benefit analysis standpoint at later date. The council will also be given a presentation on the updated Rethink Waste Plan that includes three phases spanning over six years. Goals established by the plan include reducing overall waste generation and reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with Flagstaff’s material consumption. Also, at tonight’s meeting, the council will be given a presentation on proposed regulations for electric bikes and scooters. The work session will be held in City Hall at 6:00 p.m.
