Prescott Valley Police arrested two drivers under the influence after speeding on Robert Road in two separate stops. The first instance was Sunday night at around 11:07 p.m. when officers noted a vehicle driving over 60 miles per hour in a 25 mile per hour zone. Upon stopping the driver, the officer noticed an alcoholic odor. The driver was given a field sobriety test and failed. The driver also took a breath test and was over the legal limit. Then at around 1:38 a.m. Monday another vehicle was seen going over 60 miles an hour in the same zone. Once again the driver was suspected of DUI and failed a breath test. Both drivers were placed into custody and taken to the Prescott Valley Police Department. Over the weekend officers arrested three drivers for DUI.
