Northern Arizona University is seeing a small dip in enrollment for the Fall 2020 semester. School officials say the number of students enrolled at NAU is 29,569, which is a 3.8-percent drop. NAU says the dip “does not reflect the financial impact on NAU’s budget, which will see reduced revenues of more than 12-percent, in addition to increased costs.” The school says that can be attributed to lower international and out of state student tuition revenue and fees, lower housing and dining use percentages, fewer campus events and the increased costs of campus wide health and safety preparations. Some schools saw an increase of students, including College of Education, Provost Office “college,” a rise in Native American students and an increase in graduate students.
