The NAU men’s and women’s basketball teams both fell to Idaho State teams Thusday night. It was a tight game from start to finish, but it was the Idaho State Bengals that came out with the win over the NAU men’s team, 73-69, at the Rolle Activity Center. The Jacks were without guard Luke Avdalovic for the majority of the game after he left early in the first half with a concussion and could miss sometime. Jacey Bailey missed a jumper with three seconds left as the Bengals win and go to 5-0 in the Big Sky. Miki’ala Maio led the Jacks with 17 points and J.J. Nakai scored 16 points after missing the last two games. Emily Rodabaugh added 13 points and eleven rebounds in the loss. The Jacks fall to 3-2 in the Big Sky.
