A man connected to accident in Paulden back in May has been arrested in the case. Yavapai County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a truck rollover in the 24-thousand-800 block of North Mitchell Lane in Paulden back on May 5th. When deputies arrived a 16-year-old girl alerted them that her friend was injured. They went to a Good Samaritan’s vehicle where another 16-year-old was bleeding and possibly having a seizure. While EMS tended to the girl, deputies found out 23-year-old Grant Prevatt from Chino Valley was the one driving the truck. The two girls, along with another teenage girl, said they got into the truck. Prevatt drove erratically and slid sideways and rolled. Prevatt told the girls he was a felon and needed to run away. Prevatt was released Wednesday from prison following completion of a sentence due to a parole violation. He was arrested Thursday on criminal damage, three counts of endangerment, reckless driving and leaving the scene of an accident from the incident in May. He’s in custody on $25-thousand bail.
