The offices of the Arizona State Legislature will be closed this week after President Trump’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani’s meeting in Phoenix last week. Giuliani revealed Sunday that he has tested positive for COVID-19. Legislators and employees will work remotely this week. The former New York City Mayor held a meeting on election fraud at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Phoenix last week. About 15 Republican members, or newly-elected members, of the House attended the gathering. The state Senate will also reportedly follow suit and close down out of caution. The House of Representatives posted on their webpage Sunday “in accordance with the public health emergency, all House Committees will be suspended until further notice.” State health officials reported Sunday there were nearly 54-hundred new cases and 25 new deaths reported from COVID-19.
