Around 17-hundred APS customers lost power in Prescott Valley this morning after a transformer at a local business caught fire. Central Arizona Fire officials say the incident took place at the M&I Windows and Doors facility in the 75-hundred block of East Highway 69 at around 10:30 a.m. APS crews were quick to reroute the outages and get most back online within an hour. The area affected by the outage was from Lake Shore Drive to Fourth Street and Kings Highway to Bravo Lane. Most had power back on just after noon.
