Arizona Department of Transportation officials say parts of interstate’s 40 and 17 may close during this weeks winter storm. Officials say I-17 from Flagstaff to 40 miles south and I-40 from Flagstaff to Winslow to the east and Flagstaff to U.S. 93 to the west could be closed from late Thursday until snowfall lets up and roads can be cleared. ADOT says additional highway closures could also be necessary. The National Weather Service is forecasting up to two feet of snow possible for Flagstaff and Williams over the next two days.
