Wanted Sex Offender From Florida Arrested In Flagstaff

A wanted sex offender from Florida was captured Friday in Flagstaff. The U.S. Marshal’s Office says 52-year-old Kevin Leblanc was arrested while he was walking down Route 66. Leblanc was charged in New Hampshire in 1999 on charges of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 12. He also escaped from a county jail in New Hampshire and was convicted in 2011 for failure to register as a sex offender. Leblanc is most recently wanted for a parole violation out of Florida. A group of Marshals, Flagstaff Police Officers and members of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives personnel, along with postal inspectors, tracked him to Flagstaff. He is awaiting extradition back to Florida.
